This page explains which cookies and similar browser storage vaen.cc uses, why, how long they persist, and how you change your choices. The broader rules for your personal data live in the Privacy Policy.

Two categories

This site uses exactly two categories of browser storage. The consent banner on your first visit lets you accept all or only essential; you can reopen it any time via the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer. There are no marketing or advertising cookies on this site.

1. Essential (always on)

One item of local storage, vaen_cookie_consent, which remembers your consent decision for 12 months so we do not re-prompt you on every visit. It contains no identifier that follows you anywhere.

2. Analytics (opt-in)

Off by default. When enabled, Plausible records privacy-friendly, cookieless usage stats (page views and referrers) and Sentry captures technical errors. Both run on EU infrastructure. No analytics data is sold, shared with advertisers, or used to train AI models. If your browser signals Global Privacy Control, we treat that as a no and never load analytics.

Third parties

• Plausible (analytics, opt-in): EU-hosted, cookieless web analytics.
• Sentry (analytics, opt-in): EU error tracking, no personal profiles.
• Vercel (hosting): serves the site; sets no tracking cookies here.

Your choices

• From this site: the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer reopens the banner with your current choices pre-filled. Withdrawing is one click, as easy as consenting (GDPR Art. 7(3)).
• Browser-level: every modern browser lets you block or delete site data per site. Doing so resets your consent decision here.
